A magnificent antique ornate silver plate serving butler tray Gadrooned edges to all sides with elegant shell and foliage detail to corners and sides Splendid decorative scroll work handles to either end Tray stands on wonderful little feet to each corner Monogram ed to centre "MSB"? and dated Sept 18th 1907 Stamped to back with hallmark "J&TS"? with a crossed sword Measures approx 63 cms x 41 cms and weighs approx 3.2 kgs In lovely original condition, there is pitting to the tray surface front and back {see photo} but no plate loss A superb elegant antique ornate silver plate serving tray which would look majestic in any setting and make a wonderful statement on any table on a special occasion
